When did you realize what VFL meant?

Honestly, I don't remember exactly when it was. I just remember them coming up with the idea. Apparently it was a huge draw to a lot of our recruits and was one of the main reasons some of them chose Tennessee.

If this is a sarcastic question, then I apologize, as my meter must be broken.

If not, the first time I heard about the VFL program was right after Dooley arrived. I think he set it up as something that all of the football players could aspire to, as they already did to the NFL. He added Terry Fair as the administrator to help them prepare to be Vols For Life. There is training, support, and the ability to belong to something larger than themselves.

IMO, JMO.

If you want to know more I would search You Tube for Vol For Life.
