When did you become a UT fan??

he's saying that his mom was so excited about UT football that he would have just popped out of her with her excitement, which in translation he is basically saying that his mom/parents are die hard UT fans also  ... am i right bigtime?
No im sayin I would have wanted to come out alot easier if my vols had been playin... moms a fan, but not that big

I think the only time the Vols have played Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl was 1/1/90 and the Vols won on the field and the scoreboard. A very pleasant and warm day. One of the most enjoyable bowl games I've attended.
You're right, got the wrong year. I moved there in '88, they didn't bowl that season. They did bowl the next season, the end of the '89.

If this makes sense, it was during the Florida-Georgia game in 1982. I was at that game and I think it was that day I finally understood what it was to be a student at an SEC school. And while always at heart a Gator through and through, I made some room that day for Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Arky, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, MSU, Ole Miss, Vandy, and Kentucky.

didn't make any room for georgia? :eek:hmy:

i have always been a vol fan. in 1982 i went from fan to addict after attending my first two games at neyland stadium. the vols were victorious in both, defeating washington state and memphis state.

I still haven't been to a game. :(

I moved away in November 1990. I've been through town a few times heading out to Norfolk. I've actually planned to got a game the past few years. Unfortunately, accidents happen and the Navy kind of ruined it last year with the whole "you're going to Africa" thing.

I've got my fingers crossed for this year, but I'm not sure I see it happening.

If you find yourself free, put me on your hit list for tix. I have a new baby, and won't be able to make it to all the games. Just PM me.

please, do not breathe your last breath without going. it's unreal how you actually feel when you're a part of the game, and the fans are a big part of the game.

Became a fan when I was 6 years old. Went to see the Vols play Auburn, I believe. My friend's Dad told me to look down at the player standing by himself - he told me what was about to happen - that guy was going to catch the ball (on a punt) and run it all the way back to the end zone. Sure enough, he did it, and the place erupted.

That player was Willie Gault. Vols won.
