When did the Chiefs sign Guarantano?

You need to study how stadiums are paid for. Look how the Titans stadium is being paid for. While Nashville is issuing bonds to pay their part, the bonds are being paid for with funds that wouldn’t exist if not for the stadium deal.
If the public is fine for the taxes to increase the value of a billionaire’s team, they should be fine for these taxes to improve the public schools, or the roads, or public transportation. If you choose to give tax money to a private individual you’re still choosing to take it away from an alternative purpose. Why do we spend public money on a team, increase its value, and not get an ownership stake?

Why is that unbelievable? The Suoer Bowl makes somewhere around $500 million (some estimates put it over a billion dollars) so why shouldn’t players get their cut.
I never said players shouldn’t get paid.
The unbelievable part for me is that somebody can hold a clipboard for an hour, watch his teammates get obliterated, and make almost $100k.
Puts things in perspective.
Sign of the times, I guess 🤷‍♂️

That was kind of the sad part for Vol fans. Many times, it was Trey Smith they were juking
Yep, I saw Trey doing a lot of grabbing, holding, hugging, mugging. Philly was simply dominant. KC's plan was to stop the run and make Hurts beat them. He did. He had time to throw it. He had his best game when he need it. Hard not to like Hurts; even if he went to Oklahoma....

That's the type of game you get when the refs aren't babying the Chiefs. They got the Chiefs and all the Swifties to the Superbowl. Didn't matter who won at that point. The $$$ was already made

In his book Instant Replay Jerry Kramer stated the Packers each got about $25K. That was big money in '68. It basically doubled his salary as an All-Pro guard.

$171k is pocket change in the modern NFL.

I read that book probably 35 years ago.
Excellent read, highly recommend it.

Just was about to point out my clipboard holdings skills are impeccable.

I’m so happy the chiefs getting there ass kicked machines is a crybaby that gets refs to win him games it should be bills vrs eagles or Washington either team is fine but not the chiefs
The chiefs have been getting wins from the refs all season. They wouldn't have gotten by the Texans without the refs

2 pages so far, and the OP question has not been answered. Though, google could answer that for OP faster than VN. These threads go off the rails faster than a FEMA disaster.

Edit: LOL. Good one OP. Just caught on to that. It's good when you can laugh at yourself.

I wanted the Lions in the SB, but I believe if it was Lions vs KC, Chiefs would have won. So, in retrospect I'm glad the Eagles soared.

Thank you…that’s how I saw it but I was beginning to think I was the only one. Trey had a lot of grabbing and holding (not called). But the tackles were the ones that got abused IMO.
True was trying to help the tackle that got his ass whipping on every play

I watched Trey pretty intently. It seemed like on 75% of the plays, the DL avoided Trey. He was looking for where he could help his other OL who were getting their a$$e$ handed to them. He did have one hold.

Yes on a couple plays he destroyed his guy so bad he basically gave up and just stood there.
