Re: Sky is Falling

For the duration of this week, all "the sky is falling, the sky is falling!" posts are required to pertain to Nick Saban going to Alabama. Thank you, and Happy New Year.

How did Louisville invent the Hot Brown?

It was invented at the Brown Hotel. My guess is that a cook, hung over from too much fun at the Derby, found an old turkey sammich, covered it with bacon, cheese, and tomato, and made history. The place is haunted, perhaps by the ghost of the afore-mentioned cook.

They have makers mark there as well...

That is in Bardstown.

Louisville does make some pretty good baseball bats, and is home to the fastest women and most beautiful horses in the world. Or maybe that is the other way around--it really doesn't matter.

Hrmm... Well, let's see... I know it's not the same level of competition, but we haven't outperformed NAVY for two straight years.

I doubt that. After a relatively hollow 4-0 bowl season for the Big East, I don't see them losing their automatic bid anytime soon. I doubt Rutgers continues being that good, so basically, just beat West Virginia and you go to a BCS game.

The smell has to be a pretty big advantage. I know I'd ditch the pads and go grab a slice.
Chicken alfredo pizza. Hell yes.

All of the Camberley owned hotels are supposed to be haunted. The same guy that owns the Brown, owns the Martha Washington Inn here Abingdon Virginia and it's supposed to be haunted too...

When they decided to hire a winner for their head coach.
