I posted that we had made a mistake and he would end up being a failure here

I don't feel the same with Pruitt. He has cut his teeth in 3 of the top programs in the country

He is a great recruiter. Develops talent really well. Known for his no nonsense attitude.

I think we will be happy in a few years.

We could have done Soooo much worse

He's a gamble but deserves a chance pending his coordinator choices. He is a better choice than a lot of the clowns that Currie went after. Seems to be a players coach which usually works well if they have a strong staff.

Three national championships with two teams speaks volumes. I am pleased and will anxiously await the return to some sort of normality within our great State of Tennessee.

Give him time
He inherited a dumpster fire
He needs to get his player's into the system
Year zero

Sound familiar? Get ready.

Optimists see the glass as half full.
Pessimists see the glass a half empty.
Realists see a glass with some liquid in it.
Vol fans are pretty sure it is a glass of poison.

We need group therapy, badly. Take several top ten finishes and call me in the morning. Butch was a placebo, let's see if a real coach with experience with real schools can cure what ails is.

Not a dumpster fire.
There is talent there. Veteran talent that needs good coaching.
This class needs 2 good fast WRS.
And some speedy edge guys.

Still very slim on talent and depth overall. Just is what it is

At first I was disappointed, I wanted Brohm, but after looking at where Pruitt has been and what he has done I am pumped. I think he could well be a HR hire. GBO

And his players say they have gotten A LOT better and they love playing for him. Two statements that are not true of the prior coach.

Yep don't mention that though, people around here like the status quo. Dooley 3: coming to Neyland 2018.

Going from Status Quo to Status No...Did we flame out on some coaches, yes. But, many sources saying Fulmer top 2 goals is tough minded defense and recruiting. Tired of 600 yard games on D. We aren't devoid of talent, but not over flowing. Will be interesting.

I said the Butch hire was as sexy as I am in a two piece.

Well I'm still overweight with more gray hair
