When are we going to stop looking back and focus forward? All of the Nico threads, and some are quite amusing, feel like we can't get over the situation. Until mid-summer I was in the same boat to be honest. But now that JA is killing it and the other guy....forget his name.... (well, whatever, it will come to me) is on the struggle bus why do we keep going back to that well?

I suppose I just dislike the fact he is still living, rent free, in some of our fellow Vols heads when we CLEARLY have a team that will be exciting to watch and are probably better off the way it went down.

What am I missing?

If you grew up anywhere south of Maryland, north of Florida, and east of Arizona - you wouldn't ask this question.

Hell, a lot of us are still pissed about the War Between the States.

We got lucky picking up JA. We could have been in a really bad spot with the timing of it going down. I’m going to enjoy UCLA being sorry all year. Maybe we ca. let it go over the offseason.

Actually I thought both the back up qb did very well. Not taking anything away from JA, he is doing very good, but both the backups looked much better than Nico did last year.

It's interesting because we are playing much better without Nico, and if he had stayed here, I think we lose to Syracuse.

I highly doubt Kiffin would want him, he evaluates qb very good. I don't doubt Kiffin will be at Fla next year, or Golesh

I agree we are playing much better but don't think Syracuse could beat us. I could be wrong but they laid an egg last week and Nico was fine against inferior opponents when we could run the ball. May not have scored as much though.

I did grow up within those parameters but fair enough.... Thought it was called the war of Northern Aggression in that context?

After dealing with an entire season of Nico's BS, I'd say equally as long. It helps with the BVS many of us here experience
