5. Joe Moorhead
6. Tee Martin
7. Mike Norvell
8. Lane Kiffin

Or something along those lines.

Prob the only way Tennessee could make a good "big, expensive, and explosive" hire now would be to offer Frost stupid money......and he would prob still turn it down.

I highly doubt any top name coaches........ Even the up and comers would come now.

Haven't heard Miles name for anything..... Maybe just maybe Tennessee could get Miles or Cutcliffe. If not they will have to over pay....... May as well WAY over pay and try to get a great hire in Frost.

Also FL didn't get what they wanted, Tennessee certainly didn't get what they wanted.....with A&M, Miss, Miss ST, and Ark certainly not all of them will get what they want so Miles will prob come into play at Ark, Miss, or Miss ST.

Ole Miss has already hired Luke as their full time HC. Norvell likely ends up at Ark, Fisher most likely at A'M but he's the guy I go all in on. Make Jimbo say no. But definitely would make Miles #2 option and Brohm. Like his resume way better than Frost's. Most likely Currie will be gone before end of business day tomorrow but even if he's not TN won't have a hard time hiring a good HC Bad publicity by the Athletic department rarely hurts coaching hires. Especially with all the resources our HC would have available to him from day 1.

I would throw the bank at Petersen and make him say no!

Heck at this point offer him more money than Saban and see what happens...... But prob no way on earth to land a top coach...... AD prob hard to get a lower guy........ Tennessee is going to have to settle or over pay.

I do wish someone would at least try to way over pay for Petersen or Frost..... But don't look for it.

I really thought Petersen was coming..... But it looks like Currie had his man......wow

Schiano debacle shows they are content going cheap again...won't be Petersen, Campbell, Norvell etc. At this point, it'll be someone unemployed or 2nd tier guy. But anyone is better than Schiano so whatever.

Yeah it sucks because I was getting excited about Petersen as well. But I should have known better. I went against my better judgement. For a little while, I forgot we were Tennessee.

Exactly

Now they will have to go way cheap and prob have to over past to do it. I would love to see a big name but now it would have to be stupid money....... And by the looks of things Tennessee isn't doing that.

I highly doubt many of these names being floated would even come now.

A big no thanks on Tee, Sumlin, Taggart, and Miles. Right now I'd consider:

Kiffin
Leach
Campbell
Norvell

Yea everything was looking like a great hire this time....... It looked like they already had their guy........ But somehow it was Greg the Douche.

If he was the top guy....... And after today....... We should buckle up because this could get ugly.

On a brighter note........ Decent coach or not Tennessee will not have Greg the Douche.

At this point, we're not going to attract anyone on our "hot list"...Curries ineptness put us in this position. So, to me, we're talking about two coaches. Hire Fulmer back or Les Miles. Here's the crazy thing. Both are affordable. Both have national championship rings. Both have no character issues (perceived or real). Both have SEC Championships.
Both, by themselves have less career losses than Schiano has wins.

Hire Les and let's be done with this. We'll celebrate the hell out of getting him.

Brice says we’ve already contacted Brohm and Tee. I’d take either at this point. Next person who mentions Fulmer, Cut, or Les is getting a cyber nut kick

1. Norvell
2. Norvell
3. Norvell

And, yes, his offensive coordinator is Daryl Dickey, bring him too.
And maybe bring back the Chief as defensive coordinator.
And give him big money to stay for a few years, and stay out of his way.

3. Cut with Tee as OC/Recruiting Coordinator/HC in waiting
