How good do you think UT basketball will be in 4 years? Its amazing what Pearl has done in only 2 years. When the current freshmen are seniors they will be special.

He set the bar so high he has to go the the Final Four if not a championship within four years. UT fans are not known for their patience.

True but BP doesn't seem like the type that wants us to be patient. He knows that putting a great product on the floor will keep us coming back and expecting more. I predict a final 4 and champ. game appearance. However, if he does not get there, I will not let that sour my enjoyment of the bball team.

Agreed, just the fact alone that in 2 years he took us from just hoping for some upsets to wanting the final four in a couple years.


He certainly has time before I start to grumble.

Agreed on all points, but going to the Sweet 16 or Elite Eight is no different than going to a New Year's day bowl and look at the people calling for Fulmer's head IMO.

Not bashing anyone except the bandwagon fans

If Pearl can pull in some SEC titles, I would be happy enough.

I firmly believe that we will get at least a final four within the next 4 years.

Even if we don't, however, I'll still support Pearl and the BBall team. His style is just so much fun to watch.

This is a what have you done for me lately kind of a world. It usually takes some time and a few trips to get past the Sweet Sixteen round and certainly to do so with any sort of regularity. And there will be times when your patience is tested. But overall he has definitely got UT taking all the steps needed to make it happen.

Hat, you seem confident in UT making the Final Four next year.

What do you expect as far as our record, tourney seeding, and conference standings.
