I had the same idea. Worked as a tech in a hospital for over a year. Go for it if you can.
What's your job/job area? And what did you major in/study at school to get the job?
I'm a senior in HS so obviously still debating on what to go into. Just got accepted to UT yesterday so hopefully looking into a business major there!
Thought I had you sold on teaching...;-)

Just my 2 cents, but you ought to take a look at company's that sell and create biologics, i.e. tissue, cadaver grafts, synthetic grafts etc. with your background you mentioned. The tissue/stem cell business is advancing daily. Some positions are trainers in charge of learning the products inside and out and having the capability to translate that info to sales forces, nurses, surgeons. Travel a little, benefits and good money. Again, just a suggestion.
Lyls I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm about to leave my current job n don't have a back-up plan. Thankfully I have two wonderful parents who will help me out some.
Deep down I know I should go to med-school. It's just one of those things I think I'm supposed to do. But idk what to do. I've thought about nursing, physical therapy, and health administration. I'm a damn good athletic trainer, but the $$$ Is not in it for the hrs I work. I feel like I'm almost 30 and haven't got a clue
