lawgator, I agree with the exception of your #1. Sub in confidence and it seems right to me.

There is no point in beating around the bush. You just don't have competitive players. Its not confidence, its ability. Folks on here blame the coaches, and I think there is certainly merit to that. But from what I have seen of UT football this year, you just ain't got the horses to be competitive with the top tier teams of the SEC.

You want to get better? Get better players. I'm not being a pill, I'm just telling you the truth.

I agree somewhat.

Better coaches could doubtless do more with what you have. But I seriously think you just don't have enough ability on this team to win a lot of games. New coaches may cure that problem, but the lack of speed, IMO, is killing you.
