What's Wrong With You?

I don't have a damn thing wrong with me other than being an azzwhole. My wife however is a different story. About three years ago she was diagnosed with kidney cancer which manifested itself with lesions on her bones. The cancer doctor told us there were several chemotherapy treatments to put it in remission but it has metastasized to other parts of her body. Last week she started having severe chest pains right in the center of her chest so we took her to the hospital. They ruled out the heart but after x rays and cat scans found there was a new tumor on her sternum and it caused it to crack. She is now going to go through a series of radiation treatments. I'm scared now and although I have been praying every night since this started for God to take this from her body and have been trying to keep a positive outlook it looks like I'm gonna need some help. Any prayers for her would be greatly appreciated.

Really hate to hear this my friend. Guess I've been slacking and haven't been in this thread in a while. I'll be praying for you and your wife. May god put his hands on her and give wisdom to the drs.

Every time I hear this song I say oh my god this is my song been waiting all dam day for it to come on and when it goes off I say play it again play it again play it again...

Yep there's definitely something wrong with you, just can't pinpoint what it is.

had a rough week, but people have it worse. bad pain, fever, etc all day Monday. Went into Tuesday and finally went to ER at 6 pm and appendix is "close to rupturing". 18 ****ing hours later, I finally get it taken out wed (hadn't eaten or drank anything since sunday night). Anesthesia damaged my uvula in surgery, but they didn't tell me. Got back to my room and tried to hock up some throat stuff and felt like I was choking to death. Hit the nurse button, she comes in and thinks I have a blood clot. I grab the "clot", as she gets a doc and he comes in and informs us I have my uvula in my fingers and that it was suctioned during tube removal, which made it 2-3x normal size. Feels like I have a midget's finger stuck in the back of my throat.
Just another life obstacle but dayum, I could have done without the uvula injury and finally was able to eat and drink last night after 3 days.
Good pre beach family trip diet, though I won't be fun for my kids this year.

Wow. That's an unfortunate situation, but you have a great outlook on things. I always try to remember no matter how bad my day, someone out there has it much worse. Wish ya all the best. Get well soon.
