If it means either winning 6 games next year and us getting a really good coach because we are now stacked with talent or winning 8 games and having to deal with the crap coaching we have now for 3 more years then yes I hope we win 6 games next year.

If you took every member of this board it wouldn't even half fill the stadium,and a full stadium is still a very small percentage of the fan base as a whole.So I would hope that no one,let alone recruits would judge the fan base on such a low percentage of the much larger picture.

Well, these are 18 year olds.. Their whole world revolves around 2,000 people at their school. Remember everything you do in high school is important. I don't know if all the kids can understand your concept.

And everybody knows someone who knows someone that has ties to the inside of the program. Also like how the debate gets started on telling a kid he ain't good enough to play here and maybe he should look elsewhere. Then there are recruits that are so great until they choose another school then they are a bad person, so what if a kid don't wanna be here I don't want him here. Now I think the majority of people on here will agree with me but there will be some that flame me and that's ok. I'm a VFL through the good times and the bad and I have been here through both. Every school has a message board, and all fan bases bash the coaches or program one time or another. To think this will affect recruiting here and nowhere else is naive. It won't make anymore difference on this board than it will any other. So, you can calm down now.

There are some posters who just can't give up the 'woe is me' whine. It calls to them, haunts them like the beating of the tell-tale heart, and they drive themselves and others mad with their embrace of it. A few of them have even torn up the floorboards of their own homes because the call of the whine overwhelms them.

Nah, he is way bigger than me and it was such a chore to get him in there. I told him the next time you eat the last toaster strudel and don't immediately go buy some more I'm going to put you in the floor boards. I'll be damned...... I had to go get chloroform.

To be real honest here, I was what they call a mistake baby. I got a brother and sister who are like 10 & 12 years older than me. Then I just showed up by accident....and my mom was drinking a lot then. That was before they realized than drinking booze is bad for the baby. hey, who knew....honest mistake.

It's more than a couple. I know of 10 guys alone where I work that are BAmmers and they have been members on this site longer than I. They laugh and cutup all the time about the **** they start on here. IMO there are very few true Vol fans on here. If you go to the pay sites you will find the blogs much more encouraging.

The biggest concern is how many recruits saw that lack of effort against the worst Kentucky team in history!
