Really?
I look around here and most of what I see is negativity.
"Oh, we won last night, but it was against a terrible team."
"We'll win 5 games at best this year."
etc.
I like to think we'll compete every year, no matter what. It's football. It's sport. Entertainment. Why do people watch sports?
To escape.
Why drag the negativity into something that's supposed to be fun? I curse and yell and get frustrated when we lose, when we make bad plays, when we underperform- but I still look forward to the next week and realize that everything will be just fine.
We are Tennessee fans, students, alumni... we follow one of the most storied and successful programs in the history of the game. Not many programs can make that claim.
Look forward to the next week. The passion and energy that swallows Neyland and the state of Tennessee and beyond is unlike anything else. Be glad you get to be a part of it and when we do lose or we do underperform, move on.
Just be happy to have the privilege to enjoy this team, and take every season you get to watch as a gift. The average person will only get 70 to remember.
