What's with all of the hate towards Peyton Manning?

Same thing when Peyton played for the VOLS. He always got blamed for the Florida loss even though he never did play any on defense. We always lost back then due to defense, but somehow it turned into a Peyton can't win the big game. Last night in addition to the Colts defense, Peyton's receivers dropped too many passes. But all everyone wants to talk about is the INT.

Was it still over when the Colts responded to the Saints touchdown following the onside kick with a TD of their own to make the score 17-13?

They kept Peyton off the field and stole 7 points, it was going to come back and bite them in the ass, especially the way the Colts defense was playing from the second quarter on (and honestly it had more to do with Drew Brees and Sean Payton). The onside kick stole 7 points and kept Manning off the field, which is what you do to beat the Colts.

Before Moss came to New England, look at the WRs the Patriots had on the roster. Look at the RBs that got significant carries while Brady has been under center.

Wayne and Harrison were a helluva tandem while Brady was throwing to the likes of David Patton and Deon Branch.

PM is the greatest of all time as ppl have suggested here, although his playoff record is a lil shaky, he def should have 2 ships under his belt..

dropped passes, poor defense, and that 1 turnover lost the game ( even though they didn't call the block in the back on the return)

once again, greatest EVER

If Garcon doesn't drop that 3rd down pass, Colts win. Colts defense was awful as well.

Until Moss and Welker got there, the Patriots won because of dominant defenses. Look at Brady's numbers. He is good, but he doesn't compare to Manning. He came into a situation where they were already winning. Manning came into a terrible team and turned them around.

The Colts have gone along way the past several years with mediocre defenses. The Colts have had one of the weakest run games on the NFL. they may have had a 1000 yard rusher in there but who can't run for 1000 yards in sixteen games. You only need to average 62.5 yards a game now days to get to the 1000 yard level. If not for Peyton the Colts would never have had the run that they have had the past years. They have a good offensive line to give Peyton time to pass and have had receivers that could catch. The defense was all about Freeney getting to the opposing QB.

I thought the Saints receivers did a good job shielding the Colt DB's from the ball last night. They always seemed to be between the ball and the DB. Peyton will in the end be one of the best. He is a student of the game and watches more film than probably any other player in the league.

As of now the best QB in my mind has to be Otto Graham he played 12 yrs played in 12 championships and won 8 on them. Peyton is a great role model and a great diplomat for UT. GBO

All you need to know about Peyton is watch his press conference after the loss. All class. Unlike some other people that leave and give a minute speech and wont talk to the press.

Yea he blames everyone but his self great press conference. You don't hear him say I threw a bad ball.would all of you have the same thoughts if he didn't play for ut. He is good but he thinks he is good and blames everyone else for his problems. Get peyton flustered and he is done his game out the window.GO TITANS

Don't forget Troy Brown, he was one of the greatest Patriots of all time.

That is very untrue, Peyton always takes credit for his wrong doings. You have obviously never seen a Peyton Manning press conference before to make a statement like that.
