Whats The SEC Record After Today?

You know what helps a program more than seeing their rivals lose? Not losing to them by 35 points. Maybe even beating them. You know the best way to do that? Hire a coach who's worth a ****. The benefits of a good conference are more evident when you aren't a bottom feeder

We're debating with two people who would clearly struggle on "are you smarter than a 5th grader".

Is FSU, OSU, or Texas in the SEC? Were we recruiting well when the SEC wasn't top dog?

And Tennessee has as many BCS NCs as each of them despite their existence in states that have more talent than Tennessee could dream of

My argument has absolutely nothing to do with recruiting whatsoever. That's why you should sit on the sidelines and not jump in when you're late to the game. The whole issue was whether or not consistently losing OOC games (reg season or bowls) would diminish the voters/media/analyst/computers viewpoint of the conference and negatively impact the conference champs ability to reach the title game. Why is that if UofL had gone 12-0 everyone knew they'd never be voted high enough to reach the NC? Because the Big East/AAC is perceived to be weak based on past failures.

What sparked the whole stupid conversation was him saying I wish they were 0-6. Then you went all stupid like it was really gonna happen.

You are arguing a moot point, I understand this is your daily human interaction, but good lord man you are slow.

Btw, your first post towards me was because I made a recruiting joke. Which is why I have continued to bring up recruiting genius, you should pay attention. If you wasn't such a sensitive spazz, I wouldn't have even been in this conversation.

Edited: for my inability to give a **** to argue Ben wishing something would happen. Our fan base seriously is cray cray.

If you want to understand why strong SEC (means consistent strong record in bowl games) is critical all you need to look at is last week of this year regular season. If Bama beat Auburn and OSU beat MSU (were most likely scenarios until the upsets) then Bama would have played for NC and OSU would not in spite of undefeated season.

Nobody said it being strong wasn't important. That being said fawk the SEC and any idiot "Vol" fan that cheered for Bama last night, or that will cheer for Auburn or Vandy in their bowl.

You can't have it both ways - cheer for strong SEC because that benefits us, but at the same time cheer against the members of SEC when they play other conferences. That is simply not logical.

You're asking two of the most illogical people I've seen on here to use logic. Good luck.

Seriously can you read? Did I say I cheer for a strong SEC? I said nobody said it isn't important and fawk the rest of the SEC, it's not rocket surgery.

Jerry for the love of God I've repeatedly said IF, IF, IF that were to ever happen there would ultimately been an effect. That's been my whole point, moot or not. You two consistently deny it would have any effect on conference strength, simply because it won't actually happen. I realize it will never happen, much to y'all's chagrin.

So you honestly believe IF, IF, IF Ben's vision of everyone losing but UT happened on a consistent basis, it would not ultimately affect the view of the SEC and hinder it's opportunities reaching the 4 game playoff? Simple question, that's yet to be answered by either one of you.

You 2 really can't read, I never said it wouldn't hinder the SEC. I simply said f the rest of the league. And for christ sake it's someone wishing something would happen. Is it really that hard?

Here's the thing in the 90's when the SEC was down, we still won and we still recruited well. When we were relevant nobody ever said, "man I hope Florida wins their bowl game" Now that we suck people Jock the SEC, its a pathetic loser mentality.

I am beyond thankful that Auburn is playing FSU rather than tOSU. I wouldn't be able root for tOSU under any circumstances.
