I'm looking to make my first trip up to lexington and was wondering if I should get tickets before hand or if its like Knoxville and I can get them on the streets at better prices.

Don't know if prices will nosedive in time to be great deals but you'll find some on the street before kickoff. Vibe I'm getting is UK fans are about one more loss from being all the way out.
They usually sell right by the stadium. Ticket scalping is illegal in KY but not enforced. I live in Louisville and this will be my first UT-UK game I haven't been to in years because I work and I have an 8 year old if I didn't. Tickets should be easy because basketball practice has started. Get the tickets how you wish, but I'd come up to Lexington early because the Breeder's Cup is that day too so I'm sure Lexington will be crowded.
I sold an extra ticket to the top 10 matchup between UK and UF in 2007 for $40. That's all I could get for it. Most people weren't willing to pay more than about $25. In 2005 (granted we had a losing record) I paid around $25 for 2. Only been up there 2x for games but in my experience the prices are nothing like you'll find at most SEC venues.
