Exactly. They didn't get him in there when the game was was still on the line. Our offense is the worst that it's been in a long, long time, but yet we can't figure out a way to get the ball to a guy who's probably better with the ball than anybody else in the league.
One play. One lousy, poorly designed play. Malpractice.
I think that's about the only throw you'll see for him unless they put a quick slant in for him.
I think what he was saying was that he'd rather see Berry run a slip screen (running towards the sideline) rather than a bubble screen (coming back towards the line)
I think if that play would have been more successful they might have called his number more. Having said that, it is perplexing.
if you're going to play him on offense, shouldn't you line him up more than once? what's the point of doing it then? you'd think they get him in there a hand full of times if they were going to play him on offense. he got a screen pass for 5 or so yards and then done. I can agree with not doing it in the 2nd half when the game is over, but in the 1st half, he should have gotten more than 1 play if you're going to play him. just did not understand that all
