I've missed it if it's been released or talked about by CBJ. Has anyone seen or heard specifics, for any of the defensive positions this week?

I'm guessing the loss of another cornerback creates a chart that looks like spaghetti junction... with lines and arrows moving safeties, nickles and dimes all over the cheggerboard.

Nearly as significant for this game, who's getting promoted into those newly vacant special team slots?

M. Osbourne, the CB, I swore he was all over the news in the preseason. Coaches raving about his physical attributes and strength. Why is he not even in consideration? Are coaches planning to RS him?

He's got to learn the coverages inside and out! No hesitation or wrong moves.

Or they want a redshirt

I get one a game a year at Neyland. Was there against Ohio and came away impressed with Kongbo. Not necessarily his stat line but he's athletic as they come for his position. Dude chased down backs and strung out a couple plays. I think he's ready to break out soon. Barnett was very disruptive as well. Not worried about the Dline with a Those guys along with Shy getting back as well as Danny O and Vereen playing well.

LB and DBs have big question marks with Kirkland and Cam out. Need a healthy JRM period.
TK Jr is very solid. I also liked Buchannan. We'll see about him against better athletes if CBJ gives him reps. But the point is, I haven't been comfortable with our secondary for a couple years. I hope they prove me wrong on Saturday. Huge opportunity against what should be a rattled QB.

Kenny Bynum gets lost in the sauce in pass coverage like Jumper but is a better pass rushing and tacking linebacker. His coverage skills keep him off the field.

Yeah I can see that...poor Kenny was just never a SEC LB prospect..he was a late take when we had a decommitt.

Not sure why bates isn't getting in at MLB more. He is a good talent there. Maybe cause Colton has more xp?
