I was curious. At the the gym before work today me and some guys all discussed the Florida game that crushed them the most. One guy of course brought up the 2000 Jabar Gaffney no catch. Another the 96 loss because of our expectations and to get Punked by Spurrier in that 4th & 10 then raced to the 35-0 lead that we couldn't overcome. Another guy said 95 because we were smoking them in their house and after that 2nd half hit on Joey Kent signaled the 2nd half onslaught. I chose the 2006 game as having the Marvin Mitchell pick 6 called back for JT Mapu's hand to Chris Leaks head penalty. I remember Ainge doing the Gator chomp all for not. Think if we win that game the Gators don't win that NATTY. So my Vol family get it off your chest. Which one brought the most sting? There is no wrong answer. Keep in mind I'm 36 so I remember all those vividly.

There are just so many ..... 2014 was inexcusable and the "freshest" so I'll say that one.

12 and 06 sucked but last year's takes the cake. Dominated most of the game but missed opportunities along the way, and then pissed the lead away at the end. It was made even worse by the fact that I knew exactly what was gonna happen when I saw Harris walk onto the field.

Last year. It was my first Florida game. Me and my dad shivered in the shade, color coded perfectly in the first ever cheggarboard.

1995 and 1996. 1995 was a great first half with a collapse and 1996 was the worst possible first half and one of the best passing performances in the history of UT in the second half and we came up short.

Yep, too many heartbreaks with Florida. 2000 tore my heart out, 2006 stomped on it and last year drug it through cow sh**

All the other L's stung......but I agree with you about 2014. With it being the most recent, it still burns my butt.

However, REVENGE will be ours tomorrow. The Vols will feast on Gayta. :dance2:

That's what I'm talking about. You've got it out there my friend. Tomorrow we give a Gator message board this same subject to ponder. The 2015 loss to the Vols!

2014 or 2012.

2014 because every sign seemed to show that we would finally win. We lead the whole game and then just choked.

2012 because it was the moment you realized Dooley was wayyy wayyy in over his head for sure. Sure it showed during UK 2011 but, 2012 UF was the nail in the coffin. Gameday was there, we were ranked for the first time in forever...first half was close, I think we even lead. Then second half it all fell apart and we were embarrassed.

2006

It was a whole lot like this years OU game. Plenty of chances where one play ends it, the ultimate troll job where Demetrice Morley returns a pick for a TD only to be called back on a garbage roughing call.

It was clear Dooley was in over his head day 1.
