How far have you gone?

I made a pair of pom pom pants (like Smokey wears) and went to work as "Smokey" on Halloween last year. I'll wear them again this year cause they took FOREVER to make! 3,000 strips of orange and white sewn on these pants.

Probably piling in a Pontiac Grand AM with four other students and driving from Knoxville to Miami, watching the game, and then driving right back without spending the night anywhere.

Went down to Gainesville in 97' I believe when a hurricane was rolling through that week. Was with a group of about 10 guys and we all had custom made shirts saying "The Storm Has Arrived" inside a hurricane. Most Florida fans didn't take to kindly to our shirts while some laughed about it. Wouldn't do anything like that again for fear of my life....Gainesville is brutal.

I went to the 2001 UT vs FL game in Gainesville. You are right, the fans are brutal! It didn't help me any that I had a giant orange afro wig on with one half of my face painted white and the other painted orange with power T's on each cheek. It was really crazy of me to do this at the Swamp but also while sitting in the Gator Student section. I had gotten tickets from a coworker but didn't know that is where they were! I had some very obscene things said to me that night and almost had to use my fists to get out of there. But if you remember we one that game 34-32 and I was on top of the world after that.

Well I married a woman born in FLA, raised in ALA, and converted her to VOLS. Her mom was die hard bama fan. UUUGGGHHHHHH. Game days at mom - in laws were brutal. esp when we were losing.

Still married though. Shes still a VOL all the way.
But shes ready to strangle CPF.
I think i might let her. lol

Nice!

Your's beats mine, but me and my friend got too wasted to drive 6 hours back to Alabama after the UNLV home opener a few years back. We slept off the booz in Tyson Middle School parking lot then hit the road about 5 a.m.

hmm....Theres a couple, .....

rushing through my LSAT test in an orange and white tuxedo on the morning of the SEC championship game last year so we could make it to the game, running across the street to a car waiting to pick me up and going as fast as a '98 dodge status could go loaded up with us and enough booze to kill a small ox and getting stuck in Atlanta traffic so we left the car at an abandoned closed down gas station and rode the MARTA all the way across the city at rush hour to the stadium only missing the first 5 minutes of the game.

there was the road trip to mississippi st. last year as well that when we were stuck in traffic in birmingham on our way through surrounded by Bama fans traveling to there away game we all chinese-fire-drilled-it up to every other car dressed in our orange and white yelling go vols and later getting a "talkin' to" by a Bama st. highway patrol officer who saw it and thought it was kinda funny

there was the road trip to florida last year as well we got pulled over for having a 10 ft pole out the sunroof of the car flying a UT flag and with all the windows open blasting rocky top all through gainesville dragging a stuffed gator in a hangmans noose off the bumper and the Florida officer told us "that there were too many violations to mention, including wearing orange without blue with it on a saturday, so because he didnt want to make our weekend any worse because we drove all this way to get beat, he said he'd let us off if we stood in front of his patrol car so he could get it on the dashboard camera and do the gator chomp and yell go gators." so we humored him and im sure alot of police officers got good laughs watching that video later in the day

5 guys in a toyota celica from knoxville to feyatteville, AR is way too many people in way too small a car for way too long a time

being detained at the airport in california flying out to the cal game last year because they misinterpreted the orange and white bottles of facepaint in my luggage accidentally placed next to my alarm clock as liquid explosives and a detonator

betting the kentucky fan next to us my orange pants i was wearing that we would block their FG and win the game last year in OT and thankfully not having to walk out of the stadium in defeat and sans pants.

theres been plenty, i'll have to think of the rest and get back to yall....

Got married on Oct 1st, 2005, in Gatlinburg on a mountain top at 8:30, finishing the wedding at 9ish, eating b'fast with the inlaws, changing into Orange and jumping on the Rd to K-town, getting through traffic, parking and buying (good) scalped tickets and getting to our seats just in time for a 12 kick-off and we still saw the power T. This was my new wifes first experience at Neyland. Good times, Better woman.

That state trooper story was hilarious, too...

2001 LSU game in K-town after 9/11. We had been hunting in GA and had some how busted our bottle of Gold Bond Baby Powder and placed it in a zip-loc bag, got pulled over in Cleveland dressed in Orange and White and looked like inmates/road workers lying in the grass while the THP investigated our bag of powder.
