WOW BROTHER !!! That’s heavy duty. My uncle shot anti-aircraft guns off a destroyer at the kamikaze’s. He said after the fighting was done, they would light cigars off their barrels and grin at each other.

The thing I always loved about Battleships was that, unlike a missile, there is absolutely no defense against a 2000 pound 16 inch shell. You cant shoot it down. You cant jam its radar or fool ot with countermeasures. When it is fired at you, you pretty much only have about 45 seconds to live if you are at maximum range (around 20 miles). The viet cong hated them. Pretty much turned a few acres of jungle into a smoking crater.

Sadly, they are all retired as museums now.
