What's Our Strategy for Saturday

Play action pass and run Foster. Roll-out passes worked well against Kentucky. I guess no one expects Ainge to throw on the run.

There was nothing deep about the throw to foster that went for a touchdown on the first play of the KY game. That was a very short throw that turned into a big gain. Not the same as going deep.

Will Fulmer have a ceremonial sprinkling of magic dust on the field before kickoff? If so, I hope the cameras catch it. I want to see if he put little sparkly stuff in it.

Hey law, did Sharona ever show back up? I knew you were concerned but never heard anymore.

Hey cd, thanks for asking. Yes, she did. We had dinner a month ago. She didnt bother mentioning to me until we got there that she has a new beau, so that sort of ruined my plans. But she's alive and kickin'. Still just ferociously good looking, too. Pisses me off.

I am pretty sure that that pass was caught maybe 5 to 10 yards out. Pretty sure it wasn't 20 yards out. I am just saying, that wasn't a deep throw. It was a short pass that was on busted coverage.

I just hope this game is a lot like the Georgia and Arkansas game, but if that happens yall know we still won't get any good recognition.Another game like the Kentucky game would be great if we win but I don't think my heart can handle another one of those.

Phil needs to lay it all out Saturday night with every scheme we have, don't play soft and make sure we get the freakin subs in so the defense won't tire in the second half.

Stopping Hester would be a big plus.

As someone who watched him shred the Gators' defense (which in my opinion isn't any worse than UT's and is arguably a might better) I can tell you that you cannot possibly overestimate that kid. He is one of those rare animals -- an RB who gets stronger and tougher as the game wears on.

What's our gameplan..

Are we going to run the g-gun.. Are we going to let ainge throw... Are we going to put the game in foster's hands...
Defensively our will we prepare for LSU's offense?
What's your thoughts...

Go Vols!

Defensively we need to blitze the hell out of them and offensively we need to be physical and let them know early on we wont be pushed around.

Tigerdroppings.com is reporting that Flynn is out. IF thats the case...

1) scheme to confuse Perriloux, he has great natural ability but is a mental midget. Don't let him get on a roll early and develop confidence. Throw him different sets, shift a lot before the snap, give him looks we haven't shown this year if possbile.

Bring on The PROWLER!!! Been waiting all dang year to see it! :clapping::popcorn::pepper:

Outscore them. I sort of expect to see a lot of points scored again. But we can't let up in the second half this time.

We just need more points than them (I know this is a "duh" statement, but you get the point - I think we have to score lots in this one). It's like Charlie Weis said after losing to Navy. The on-field reporter grabbed him as he was leaving the field and asked him why he thought ND lost the game. He said: "They scored more points than we did."

Are you drunk? Everyone in the universe expects UT to start out running the ball. Run run run, and run some more. It would be great to see you come out flinging the rock all over the place, let Ainge go deep and try to score quickly and let the Tigers know they are in for a fight. But your coach is Phil Fulmer and so everyone expects you to run run run.

And you will.

Will be a mix of run four to five yards and short pass eight to ten yards with a trick or two. To negate LSU speed runing will be slants and dives. Look for Ainge to run sprint outs to avoid pressure early but late in the game mostly pocket pass and will be farther down the field. We win a stunner 38-24
