What's our gameplan..

Are we going to run the g-gun.. Are we going to let ainge throw... Are we going to put the game in foster's hands...
Defensively our will we prepare for LSU's offense?
What's your thoughts...

We need to test their DL early and often with the running game.

Run right at Dorsey to see if he's healthy.

Then a whole lot of play action. Steltz bites on them every time

It would be great to see you come out flinging the rock all over the place, let Ainge go deep and try to score quickly and let the Tigers know they are in for a fight. But your coach is Phil Fulmer and so everyone expects you to run run run.

Tennessee will use the same balanced long drives it has attempted all season. They must protect their defense. If they get behind, then they'll let fly.

I do think they'll use Gerald more though.

Run the ball early. Get a big lead. Then abandon run game go 5 wide and watch lead melt away.

I truly expect the first play UT executes will be a long pass attempt.

I expect the Second play to be a Screen Pass.

I expect the Third Play to be a Arian Foster up the Gut.

and Depending on how that third play went will determine what the next set of plays will be.

I think if Arian Foster gets 4 or more yards on his first run you will see UT run the ball often and set up the Passing game.

UT will WIN this game... hehe (I hope)

Not so fast, my friend. Before the KY game, I would have agreed with you, but on the first play EA threw to foster for the TD. The possibility exists for a deep throw early.

Go watch the 2004 SECCG and see how well prepared we were offensively. It was probably Randy Sanders's best game.

defensively I think you stop the run.. Make flynn beat you..
Offensively use what works if thats the run use it and dont stop untill they make you stop. Dont suddenly stop running if foster is gaining 5 yards a carry.

It really was. That holding call that nullified the long pass play to Meachem from Clausen still pisses me off to this day.

Steltz is a hellacious hitter. He plays like Roy Williams though. Any misdirection and he's on his back wondering where the ball is.

This was my first thought - jump out to a 28 point lead...spot them 24 in the 3rd qtr, hang on for dear life until its over and pray that we "fight like heck " to win.

Tigerdroppings.com is reporting that Flynn is out. IF thats the case...

1) scheme to confuse Perriloux, he has great natural ability but is a mental midget. Don't let him get on a roll early and develop confidence. Throw him different sets, shift a lot before the snap, give him looks we haven't shown this year if possbile. And don't let him beat us with his feelt make him earn it through the air - I don't think he can succeed that way.

2) Offensively, got to mix the run and the pass effectively, hopefully by establishing some sort of run game early (between the tackles) and then bringing in the play action pass. Pass wise, throw quick slants quite a bit. Limit the use of screens, they will expected and LSU has too much speed for those to be effective.
