I paused my routine for the last part of November thru all of December. Blah blah blah. As a result I've gained alot of weight.

This morning at 6:05 after my exercise and walk I weighed in at 187.6. I'm going to use this thread to periodically post my progress because I know TFG and souce are on pins and needles awaiting this information.

My goal is 155.0 by June 9th.

I also have a couple of more things I'll be committing to as well. I also have one or 2 that I probably need to work on that I have no intention to.

I think TFG is going to try to quit men this year and souce is going to try to stop stealing gifs. Anyone else got something going on fir 22?

Health - I want to get down to 185-190 lbs. Especially since I already have nudez request 6 hours into the New Year from some of y'all

Financial - I really don't want to blow the out of pocket maximum to pieces again for health insurance.

Personal - I'm going to figure out what to do with my hands and what to put on my feet.

Behr - congratulations on the success you've had losing weight. You posted an impressive number a few days ago. It takes dedication & time. You're winning that hurdle. I was scratching my head wondering why you bought the specialty shoes & now I know. Good that able to do what you do. Get that June 15 goal boss.

Get back to where I was circa 2016 or so. I have to be careful, but I’m at a point where I can start pushing my workouts again without pain. Just gotta remember I’m old and I gotta stretch more! I’m running a half marathon (potentially 2) this spring and I’m planning on getting Marine Corps Marathon number 3 in the books next fall. I’ve taken up swimming to offset Running and hopefully help me shed some pounds. I actually want to get even lighter than I was in 2016 where I ran my personal best Half. Been putting in the work and today was no different1AABEA2D-A2FF-4BC7-B2DA-8F3E5518AFBE.jpeg

Thanks, I figured out what works for me.

Between neuropathy, diabetes and all those year's wearing shoes on concrete floors of restaurants that looked good instead of being comfortable my feet are in bad shape. Don't know if these shoes will help but many other pairs didn't.

June 9th, that's my birthday.

Awesome dude!! You have my respect for being out there. What was your weight when you started & was it your highest? I've been 269 & have earned the right to call my self a fat ass. I'm floating around 195 now. First time since 1990 I've been under 200 at Christmas.

After I quit smoking I got to my all time high of 222 pounds in March of 20. I manged to drop down to 161 back in October of 21. Things happened and I put on a few pounds then Thanksgiving and.....well, here I is at 187.6 today. It's alright though because I'm excited to get at it again.

Gonna be a good year.

Something else I'm hoping to do this year is meet my 9 year old niece for the first time. It's not all in my hands is why I say "hope to". I went through something similar as someone else with my sibling and during that time of not speaking he got married, had a daughter that had 8 birthdays and got a divorce.

Yeah, alot changed for me in the last 2 years, some good and some not. But thankfully life goes on.

I would be happy if I could maintain 160lbs, without it being fat. 157 when I weighed at the gym, and I'm doing heavy weight still trying to gain muscle because it weighs more. I'm definitely stronger, sincerely not meaning that bragging, just that heavier weights are having an effect, just can't hold body weight.

I got to all-time high of 237 when spouse got sick back in 2017. I ended up cutting out the soft drinks and (some of) the sweets and got all the way down to 196. I've been in 205-210 range since middle of 2020 and made special effort not to gain weight during her health issues this time I am at 201 now.

I'd love to do the St. Jude Half Marathon (or at least 10K) this year.
