Turnovers
Sacks
Defensive Tackles
Special Teams
Passes beyond 6 yards
Unpredictable playcalling
Tackling
Defensive effort in the 4th quarter

I'm not even a little surprised we lost considering the above.

The product on the feild has not looked good for sure.I was a john chavis supporter. But we have no line and can't tackle anyone. So if john's got to go then he has to go.

I know they have a good set of recievers but chavis needs to send some LB and corners to blitz at times... NO SACKS?? that is the too bad on D

I agree that our defense is lacking. Just not very exciting at all. Chavis used to really produce some scary D but anymore we are scary average or less. I feel for the offense except on that series inside the five when we didn't score. We just don't look like the big time teams anymore. Very depressing.

LBs that will come up and stop the run
A playmaker at WR
A special teams coach

WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? do we not have a special teams coach??? Hasn't the need for one been painfully obvious. I just don't know if Fulmer can manage a football team anymore. It used to be you could just throw enough athletes out there and let them play. Now they have to be smart and fundamentally sound athletes, which we clearly do not have enough of on special teams or defense.

what's missing?

running game
a D that puts themselves in the right positions

explosive punt returners are dealt with very easily. you don't kick to them. simple.

We are missing that killer instinct. PF has gotten that JM syndrome. He has gotten content with 9 wins a year. He has lost his edge. He is only wanting to win it again for himself. He is wanting to win it so he can go out on top. He is in a sad stat that most Elderly men go through. He is wanting to show he is the man before he retires.

I like how when we try and use trickery...we make it sooooo obvious.
Like on that lucas taylor option with Hardesty....I mean, did anyone think Lucas was gona drop back and make a read?
What a joke.

As good as the offense looked tonight, they reminded me alot of '05 passing-wise. Throwing the ball 6 or 7 yards every time is what Rick Clausen did. I'm afaid this is going to become a regular thing until Ainge's pinky gets better to where he can stretch the field.

they wanted to make it look like taylor was gonna have the option pitch available to hardesty. however i doubt if that play was even designed to perform the actual pitch. taylor was probably gonna take it all the way no matter what.

Sadly, I agree. All of the above were missing. All were missing.

i absolutely hated how we had a pac-10 style offense tonight. don't get me wrong, ainge was great. but he doesn't need to be throwing 40+ passes game after game. this happened last year. instead of getting 3-5 yard gains up the middle on a handoff, we've switched to little quick outs and screen passes. that does not wear down a defense. it pays to smash people right in the mouth play after play. that's what sec football is all about.

all of those wide receiver playmakers seemed to me like they were on the bench

vinson? played two plays, got interfered with both times

o neal? hardly saw him

g jones? where was he? miss the plane?

confuses the hell outta me

one player we played a lot.... eric berry.. and he did a DADGUM good job

Add WINS. After starting 7-1 last year weve lost 4 out of our last 6.

we need a playmaker on defense. hefney is the closest to that and he looked poor tonight
