Spoke to his dad also and we have a story coming. Robert Hubbs Sr was very complimentary of Tyndall and company. Reiterated what Mrs. Hubbs said about Robert currently feels good about the meeting and the direction. They have not asked for a release.

Great to hear! Really impressed by how him and his family handled it, regardless of the decision. Obviously him choosing to stay with UT is much better, but either way I'm glad they gave CDT a chance to make his pitch.

"The visit went great," said Leisa, Hubbs' mother. "It was very special to us that the whole staff was here. We thought it would just be coach Tyndall and maybe one assistant. When they left, Robert look at us and said he was still a Tennessee Vol. It's his decision but we are there for him and there to help guide him anyway he made need. I told Robert and my husband this was much worse than when he was deciding in high school."

Robert's father, Robert Sr., was also impressed with the fact that the entire staff came to his him to make it clear just how important his son was to their program. "It showed me and my son how much they want him. And it showed a lot of respect from coach Tyndall. It meant a lot to me and I know Robert was excited about it. "They told him that they want him to be a big piece to the puzzle. A cornerstone because they need to build the team around players like him."

"He is just going to take things one day at a time, but I think a decision will come fairly quick. I don't want to put a timetable on it, but whatever he wants to do our family is going to support it. "They made it clear that would be very excited to keep him."

"Robert loves Tennessee. He loves the fans and the school. Things happened so fast it was a bit of a culture shock. His friends left, but you can't just leave because your friends left. What's good for one person doesn't mean it's good for you."

If Mostella makes it through the clearinghouse and Hubbs really does stick with us, our wings are going to be nasty next year. Hopefully DT sees the opportunity he has in front of him here and decides to hop back onboard.

If Tyndall runs a true high-low, it's not the worst idea ever.

If Mostella was the backup PG for ten minutes a night I think UT would be fine.

Basilio posted on Wed that Donnie Knoxville decided mid day to fly....
I heard Tuesday at noon he was flying and what aircraft they were taking.
& I don't know "JACK"!
Basilio just reported that Pearl is being investigated for some recruiting violation regarding a BBQ at his home.
