What's going on with NUKE?

I have him as a friend on Facebook and he's posted somestuff about him and his family and he hope's the lord will get him through the rough times... and everyone freaks out on there saying we need you Nuke dont leave us and all this other stuff.... I like like Nuke but i he dot wanna be a vol then its best now to part ways... He wants to wine and cry and doesnt know if he made the best decision to come to UT

Kinda low class, putting restrictions like that on a teenagers future.

You won't see UF doing that or you wouldn't have John Brown suiting up for you next year and you wouldn't have had a crack at Cam Newton.

those guys went the JUCO route, so meyer no longer has a say about where they can go. know something about football before spouting out of your arse!

Will Nu'Keese return to the practice field tomorrow?
How badly is Savion Frazier's knee injured?
Will CLK get strike three from the evil SEC commissioner?
And what about Naomi?

For the answers to these and other probing questions, tune in tomorrow for another exciting episode of, "As the Stomach Churns."

CLK needs to fix this. Nuke will turn out to be a really good player. He is just 18, and needs someone to tell him whats up. Staying at UT is best for him, especially now that he is already here, and getting some PT this early in his career. CLK needs to make this right IMO. Part of the job description is unfortuneatly managing 18 year old's egos and emotions.

Fix what? Make what right? Do you know any specific details?

You need to know what Nuke did (if anything) before saying CLK needs to "fix it" & "make it right".

I seen men cry over homesickness when I was in the military. I seen people go UA because of it. Homesickness sucks a big one.

When I would get homesick my frosh year at UT I would just drill three or four slugs of whiskey so I could sleep... worked everytime. Somebody get Nuke some Kentucky Deluxe!

Or 3 or 4 girls at one time:crazy:. They will quickly make you forget about being homesick.............

Totally agree, The Kiffer has this job, but can he "show the love"??

Pretty much every school who has a player transfer out-who does not want to go to JUCO or an FCS school-gets restrictions placed on him as to where he can transfer. That's the deal they accept to get released out of the scholarship. If he doesn't want restrictions, all he has to do is go to JUCO or an FCS school and play for a year. Then go wherever he wants to. Schools typically restrict a transferring player from going to a school in the same conference or a school on the team's schedule. Nothing low class done by CLK or anyone else. That's just how it is done.

homesick can b hard. After being away from the greatest place to live in the whole world (knxville ) for those of you that hadn't been therel I can vouche 100 % that there re times when you would do anything to go bak home but this kid is playin football for the greatest football program ever! If homesick is the issue_ he needs to grow up and learn to catch a punt return. I'll back you nuke 100 % on whatever decision you make unless you go play for fla and we have to put an azz whoopin on you next year

I also heard that Nuke and Dunkley didn't play together at Pahokee and are not close friends.

They didn't...Dunk just transferred to Pahokee this year. Never played together so some of the conspiracy theories of Dunkley being a mole, etc. just don't make any sense IMO.

Nuke will appreciate sticking it out come this time next year, both from a football and personal growth standpoint.

As far as the Iraq/18 year old statement goes, that is just a stupid comparison. I can promise you that the second the kids get on the bus to boot camp they are homesick, the second they step on the plane to Iraq they are homesick... and it never stops. I've known plenty of otherwise tough people who wished they could stay every time they came home, and a few who tried.
