For next year how many wins in the regular season will it take to ensure he has a job for 2013? I don't care if its been posted before or talked about im not going through 500 threads to get your opinion so give it here. Im going to say 8 wins maybe 7 if he has an upset along the way next year

Minimum of 8 wins next year to keep his job. 6-6 won't cut it, especially if he gets all the JUCO guys in here early, and even the true freshman.

Interesting Question. With no qualifiers I would say 9. If I have to account for another year of Bray & Hunter out for 6 games then 8 sounds pretty good.

8 could get him through, but I'd say 9 is the minimum for which there would be no doubt about his return.

Just wait till the off season, you'll read on here that we will win 9,10, or 11 games. They will 'just feel it'..

Good grief! How many more of these "how many wins" threads are there going to be before September, 2012?

It has to be 8 wins, not counting a bowl. Along with that, he better beat some teams like Florida, s.carolina, UGA, or some other good SEC team. This is saying if we stay healthy and don't lose any starters like we did this year.

A winning season does it, and we play competitive with Bama most of the game.

8 is very safe...

...but we don't know how TxA&M and Mizzo will effect the schedule.

Also, Another string of key injuries could push the safe number way down.

It doesn't matter what he goes. Most of his starters will still be Juniors and Sophmores and will still have to have young guys to fill the depth. There is not going to be many good seniors next year either
