Hey when can coaches officially offer a kid? Is it September 1st of their junior or senior year?

All offers are, is the school telling the recruit we think we want you on signing day or to enroll at the school for EE. Of course, the school can change it's mind. So, they really don't mean much other than to let the recruit know they are more than casually interested.

Offers don't in themselves mean anything, just ask Storm Johnson who happened to have a nice game last night.
