A couple? It's a five game streak and only one game was decided by less than three scores. Unless some of those "shoulda's" were "we shoulda been halfway competitive" I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Halfway competitive? Come on.

The last two half time scores were 13-10 and 6-6. That doesnt rate as "halfway competitive"?

Dont get me wrong,we got our asses handed to us in the sec halves but we were competitive to a point. And yes...we're pissed off about it.

That's where I question Dooley's abilities. I know the Vols have been lacking depth, and that can kill you in the second half. But I've seen nothing that indicates he knows how to make appropriate adjustments at halftime.

Us too. Is it depth or adjustments?....or experience?

Coach Dooley is doing a good job addressing our depth issue...and he's getting some valuable exp.

Will he be able to start fielding a winner? The Vol in me says yes.

I don't want to just beat Bama! I wanna beat em all!

I remember back in '85, listening to the Sugar Bowl on the radio (was to poor to own a tv), when we smashed Miami. I screamed the whole game. If we had scored another 30 points I would have still been screaming. It was just an awesome feeling.

I remember 1998. I was in my later years in the Marine Corps and stationed on a Navy base in Florida. Put up with a lot of Sh** that year as we went undefeated an won the NC. What a great feeling.

I was still in Florida in 2001. Was in the Swamp when we beat the Gators on their field and got to hear Spurrier when he said "don't look at the scoreboard, they beat us a whole lot worse than that shows".

While I think we are heading in the right direction, and will get back to where we need to be (Bama went thru years of disappointment after the Bear), I'm ready for new memories of our beloved Vols!

Do I want to beat Bama! Hell yes! And Fl, and LSU, and ........ you get the picture.

Enough of my psycho ramblings :crazy:
