What would be better for Tennessee?

Some of you seem to want Tennessee to be the champions of the weakest conference in cfb. That doesn't bode well for our national title aspirations -- assuming you think (as I do) that we will eventually work our way back into that discussion.

Personally, I have no desire to see Tennessee be viewed as the modern-day version of the 1984 BYU team. I want us to the be best team in the conference where the best football in the country is played. That's something to be proud of.

If Florida won?
If Georgia won?

In my opinion, I want A&M to rough up Florida and sort of demoralize them. I want a low scoring game with not much spark. I do want them to win so the win looks better for us.

But could they gain momentum going into Knoxville?

I want them both to lose.

What you talkin about Hacksaw?

On another note 3 posts later and I'm with you on Florida losing. F the gators. They'll play Driskill, then Brissett, still get beat and start Trey Burton against us.

Hows that?

The goal is to win the SEC. To do that we need to win the east. That beig said, a Florida and Georgia loss helps Tennessee. Other teams closer to being mathematically eliminated is always a plus.

Florida is in the SEC East, we want them to loose. When we beat them down they will have two losses in the SEC.

Georgia is picked to win the SEC East we want them to loose. IMO

I really don't get your point. If they both lose, they'll be losing to sec teams, so the conference's reputation isn't hurt. We will be in more recruiting battles with fla and ga than we will with a&m and mizzou. So it makes perfect sense to want both of them to lose.

I was more addressing the 'I always want to see our rivals lose, no matter what' sentiment. I agree with your point, of course.

I love it when our rivals loose. Put another check in the loose column.

Would help us for UF to lose and Ga/ Mizzou doesnt matter. With A'M and Mizzou talking so much smack about the SEC they both need ass whippings to shut them up esp Mizzou.

This! And one of our rivals from the east losing to a team from the west is always a plus for the Vols.

Can't believe no one mentioned recruiting before this.

I want UGA to lose, but i want UF to win. We will beat UF and then own tie breaker over them in the East anyway. Imo the East is between UT, UGA, and USCe.

All we gotta do is take care of our bizznass and the rest don't matter... We win then it doesn't matter what they do. Personally I don't like any other team, so they can all loose IMO!
