Yeah. We're talking about a lynch mob playing with a man's livelihood. You guys who want to get rid of Phil need to realize that you just might get Zooked or worse.

If he did go would they give the job to Chavis or Cutcliffe?

I don't think so, I think Mike Hamilton is more likely to go "outside the family." Tennessee had the tendency to get the good ole boys, but I think Hamilton is willing to go out side as he did with Pearl. If he did happen to choose someone already here I would think Cutcliffe and no one else

It was a Sporting News article. Why don't you send him an e-mail and tell him to stop feeding the NegaVols... :good!:

This article is a month old. It's been quoted by the negavols at least once every day since. You guys are eating stale rotten trash.

For someone who calls other fans negative, i.e."negavols", I rarely hear you say anything positive.

Funny how that is.

How many times can we POSSIBLY quote this article, I mean damn you guys are desperate for this man to be out.

I found 2 threads quoting this article. So apparently the answer would be it can possibly be quoted in 2 threads.

I've been mocked and touted for saying the Vols have a chance to go undefeated next season. If we get some breaks and good fortunes, next season could be very special.

I think CPF has assembled a great coaching staff after letting several key coaching positions on his staff go unchanged too long. (I'll admit, I wasn't fond of seeing Cut coming back, but he has been great so far)

Last season was great in terms of year over year improvement. I expect to see the same marked improvement next season. Cut is cleaning up the offense and I see the team looking like professionals, which had been lacking the last several years. Chief is building a lean, quick, hard hitting defense that is perfect for the finesse ball being played by most schools (there aren't too many smash mouth programs anymore).

All in all, we should be on here excited about next season. I think it's completely ridiculous we have a thread about what record would drive Fulmer being asked to retire.

So for GURU status you repost old threads and use them as your own idea. Then you give me a smart alec answer because you have no defense for your bad thread.

Hmm

We were physically dominated in three out of the eight SEC games we played. Our best win was over a Georgia team that subsequently went on to lose to both Vanderbilt and Kentucky. We wrapped up the season with a totally lackluster performance against a team we should have handled easily, after which their mediocre running back crowed about how "we ran the same play over and over; they knew what was coming, they just didn't want to tackle me."

Last season was an improvement only if you compare it to the fiasco of 2005; by any other standard, it was a thoroughly mediocre season. I am not one of these guys who thinks that Fulmer is an idiot, or that he's lazy, but I do think it's absolutely justified to look at the changes in the SEC in the last half-decade, the mediocre seasons Tennessee has put up in that time frame, and then wonder whether Fulmer's best days are well behind him.

It's time for results, not more "improvement." We've got a senior QB; our division rivals all have at least as many questions as we do. Win the SEC or play in a BCS game this year, or find someone else who can.
