What win do you want more this year? Florida or Bama?

I'd really hate to lose to Florida this year - they had one of the most complete meltdowns last year of any team I've seen, lost some key players via graduation/transfer, are under a new coaching staff, and we play at our place early in the season. We were competitive with them last year back before their meltdown. We need to dominate them so both players and fans can get that bad taste out of our mouths.

It's never a bad time to beat Bama but they will be really tough this year.

I think, if we beat Bama, it would haunt us that we didnt beat Florida. Because obviously, Bama is better than Florida. I feel like that would put a "What could have been..." taste in our mouths.

To beat Florida and lose to Bama, IMO, doesnt detract from our team or season. No one is thought less of for losing to Bama. Sure, it would be great to beat them, but I HATE looking back thinking "what could have or should have been."

So, I'll take Florida. Plus, I just hate that "curse" that's on us. Beat the brakes off of Florida, please.

Florida. We lose to them to year, it will be considered a huge set back in my opinion. Assuming we’re 3-0 going into the game, it will kill all momentum going to LSU. Not to mention we’re favored right now and should be at kickoff.

If we lose to bama, so be it. They have more talent on both sides of the ball and will be expected to win. They’ve won 15 in a row , what’s one more? I ****ing it but it what it is.

I appreciate some just answering the (simple, harmless, hypothetical) question for what it is; what game do you want to win the most? What is the one game Vols fans really want to win deep down? No, not all the games are equal (NOBODY is trading a Ball State or Akron win for an Alabama or Florida win). Yes of course we want to win them all. Yes of course we'd like to win both. And yes of course "the next one is the most important one".

To me Alabama would be the biggest by a thin margin just because they've been the team to beat in college football since Saban has been there. Next, Florida would be a very close second just because of how frustrating this game has been for 17 YEARS. We are 1-16 against both Florida and Alabama over the last 17 years.

No other games can compare to these two IMO.

So what games do I want to win the most?

1. Alabama.
2. Florida (very, very close second).
3. Georgia (distant 3rd).
