Anyone ever notice how if we beat some nobody team... it's all condescending things like KILLERxMOOSE just said "good job, you just beat the worst team in the country"

But if someone like Georgia pulls out a win after struggling to a nobody team in their game the media spins it something like this "somehow the bulldogs defeated this tough defense and pulled out a win, showing their hunger for a bcs game"

It gets old after a while...

Everybody's official media outlets do that. Take a look at the headlines from UTSports from last year (Falls fall in close game, etc. Big plays help Vols pull out win, for example).

how about seeing some of these teams for what they really are,i.e.WKU is gonna get smoked Saturday, & if they don't, I'm going to be worried about UT

exactly. Were the headlines when UT squeaked by Air Force about how bad they played or how the stepped up in the end against a confusing O that's hard to prep for in 1 week?

*sigh* on gatorcountry they were laughing and poking fun right up until the 2nd quarter saying "SEE THE VOLS SUCK" then suddenly there were no more posts on the threads until Vol fans called them on it then it was "it was WKU" while they beat up on a 1-AA team.

UT still has bumps in the road ahead but since 2000 I have not seen the fan base this energized (even before the WKU win) in a LONG time, and I have not seen at UT team that was able to put it to a team that we should. Need to work on ball control and stupid penalties, but if this team give the effort all year they did today and keeps learning then I am fine with it. I was one of the people down on Cropmton last year and I am gladly eating my crow right now.

Kiffin did not seem to be pleased with dominating while still having miscues, I like what I saw and heard from him. Recruits will love how we play frosh. We used the TE, RB, and WR talent, we used freshman, and for the first time in a while I couldn't call the next play before we ran it.

Don't get me wrong I don't see us winning the SEC this year at this point, but I do see improvements and signs of life I have not seen in 8 years. I don't think Kiffin will settle using talent to win games.
