A total football staff at UT announced or the Dogwoods bloom?
I think they have to raise more money or wait to see if Steele is gonna get a job .. if Steele don't leave then he is our OLB coach ...we out of money boys and girls .

Here is a better question.
Which happens first?
UT beats Bama?
UT beats The Gators?
UT loses to some FCS team, by 3 TD's?

According to the latest reports, Hell has not yet frozen over.
So there's still a chance for a complete staff to happen.

Steele is not on staff. He is getting paid but Not a member of this staff nor on campus. In fact, his good friend Doug Matthews state Steele isn’t in the state of TN and will not coach @ UT. Matthews is wrong quite a bit but he is good friends w Steele and talks to him frequently.

With that said, Idk the hold up for a new coach a d assume the admin is hoping Steele finds employment elsewhere to void UT current contract.

Agree, lol.

I stand corrected on one thing. Steele’s contract states he is indeed an asst coach so he cannot be on payroll for an”analyst” position, etc. which may be one reason why we haven’t hired the last coach.

So obviously the AD is waiting for Steele to get a job elsewhere. Otherwise we may have to fire him to hire another asst.

The next asst coach will most likely be for special teams.

But Steele is @ home in Auburn collecting two checks, one from Auburn and one from UT.

Matthews stated he speaks to Steele regularly and that Steele hasn’t spoken to UT admin in three to four weeks.

What a great gift Fulmer left. Steele will get a fat check in the end, Tennessee, the school that gives and gives...

Nope not yet. Our AD is hoping he finds another job so we don’t have to pay him. I personally think we will either fire him or he will have a job by mid March or early April.

I may be wrong. Just another bad decision by our program.
