What will Dooley do if we build an early lead?

he will go into the locker room at the half, up by 21, then return to the field in black pants and a Power T on his arse.

don't let up..if it's working keep doing it. I guess if the defense is getting wore out then yu start thinking about more running plays.

But by then hopefully it is too late anyway.

Don't take your foot off their throats no matter how many points we have. Run the score up if possible. FL has never hesitated to do it to us. Sportsmanship be damned. Blow em out

poor it on, being nice stops at the locker room.

I wouldnt care if it was 60-3 at halftime. Its not our job to stop our offense. That's a problem for Florida.

Let's say we come out and catch the Gator's D off guard. Maybe both CP and Hunter have huge TD catches and we find ourselves up 14-0 in the 1st quarter or early in the 2nd. Let's also say that Florida's O struggles early.

Would Dooley start playing it safe, start running the ball to control the clock, and stop blitzing? Or will he keep his foot on the gas and keep playing aggressively?

He says he wants to score points, but I could see him getting paranoid and being afraid to blow an early lead due to INTs or quick 3 and outs.

Dooley would be making a mistake to be conservative if he is up early. I think he is aware of this and would continue to call aggressive plays until 4th quarter.

14 point is not a comfortable lead against the Gators. They've proven that in the past.

Being up big at halftime means nothing. Pound the rock down their throats until they freakin choke on it. And then, when they cry uncle, slap the piss out of em and say
"Zip it, b-*ch!"

Do what Florida would do if they jump out to a 14-0 lead. Look to score at every opportunity, ball control and impose your will on the other team. Dooley will show no mercy on the Gators whatsoever if we jump out to a early lead. This is a statement game for him and this team. Send the Gators home like they have done the Vols so many times. With a loss.

Screw "winning with class".........I hope Dools calls a timeout up by 21 pts with a few seconds to go and calls a flea-flicker to end the game.

After scoring 14 on them Dooley will send his entire training staff to the gators sideline. Because the very next play after the kickoff will be a pick six from pswagg... The traing staff will be needed to restart champs heart....

They'll need to massage all the cramps they will suddenly start having.

If he knows whats good for him he will keep putting on points..

You let up just a little bit and next thing you know its Q4 and Florida has worked their way back in the game somehow.

If you have the chance to put up 70 on the Water Lizards.. you better do it

if we jump ahead early from big passes, FL will be taking men out of the box for coverage. 1st play I'd spread the field, shotgun, & run a draw play.

I'm thinking we use our passing game to set up the run.

Sprinkle in a little play action

Profit

Release Sal. With a lead the defense can dial up all kinds of pressure. Gator offense will crack and that leads to turnovers. Points off of TOs lead to happy bunch of Vols Friday night.

My hope is that CDD puts his foot on their neck and mashes the heck down. We don't need to take our foot off the gas if we're up period. We need to play to win, not play not too lose, which is what Fulmer did.

In my opinion, we win this game 31-13.

Dooley has been bashed by every coach in the sec in the recruiting wOrld and and told he was gonna lose his job. He will absolutely throttle every single team he has the opportunity to in the sec. I can't even imagine how good it will feel for him to show up all his critics. If u don't think he knows what has been said about him ur crazy. He feels it every day he is on the recruiting trail. I don't think he is one to rub it in on the recruiting trail but I do think he will rub it in on the field.

And a BIG one at that! Who can stop us? This is gonna be fun to watch! 50-3 Vols.
