What will be your thoughts?

We could have beaten Bama and win the NC next year and a large percentage of the NegaDools would still be pi$$ing and moaning about him.

To me it depends on what we want. We are not gonna be a top SEC team when our recruiting classes are in the bottom of the SEC. If we want to be a top team we need a top guy. If we don't, I wish they would just tell us so we can lower our expectations to Miss., Vandy, UK, USCe ect ect.....so we can keep Dooley. Beating the teams we have left should be minimum expectations not exceeding expectations.

He is funny isn't he. The sad part is that he actually believes his garbage.

Beef,

I took a moment to scan your posts. Of your last 400 (excluding the MLB thread), two were nice about somebodies' kids, two seemed to actually be about football and all the rest were about "Fire Dooley"...with the occasional "we shouldn't have fired Fulmer".

I found it interesting that in about a fourth of them you directly insulted the personal intelligence of either the poster you were quoting or Dooley/Hamilton.

I also noticed you are fond of boot polishing references (ex-military or a fetish?) and you want to watch those whose opinion differs from yours drive off a cliff at some point.

Is that really the best you can do?

I would still probably pull for some new blood. SCAR would be his first signature win in the SEC and they are coming off of two losses nonetheless. As far as the November schedule, it would be a disappointment to lose to any of those teams.

Typical. We should give Dooley no credit at all for going on the road and beating a top 15 team that has only lost on the road at, wait for it, wait for it, LSU & Florida. That win should carry no weight at all. With fans like these.........

Amen!

The whole premise behind my question was to see if the fan base can solely base this season on a "fictional" win out of the season. Almost all mentioned his complete coaching record, and NEVER can beat UF, UGA, UA. What I want to see is improvement and judgement over this seasons body of work. UA has lost 1 game in 3 years...kick that one to the curb (Nobody's competing w/ them right now). UF and UGA are top tier schools. And we hung right in their w/ them. It will take time...given our past...to reach this level. I just want to see if there is a possibility. I can't answer this until the season plays out further. The last two seasons were loaded w/ cancerous players and attitudes and attrition. We played a ton of young players in a league built for veteran leadership.

If you go to a restuarant and order a steak cooked medium rare and it comes out burnt your not gonna send it back to the chef to get another one because its the chefs job to cook the steaks?Your not gonna complain to the manager if the chefs refuses to redo your steak? Your gonna continue to go to that restuarant after the management keeps employing the chef that cant cook?

Dooley's first two years was more like this:

If you go to a restuarant and order a steak cooked medium rare and it comes out a burnt hamburger (cause unfortunately the last chef forgot to order more steak & that is all the chef had to prepare)

Somewhere we have to beat a good team. We have not done that in 3 years. Why would anyone want to continue this for another year.
