What will be UT's strong point(s) on the field during the '10 season?

I think our starting DL will be good, but we do not have any depth. RB and secondary should be very good. We have talented receivers, but we've got to be able to get the ball to them for them to do well. I think that depends on the play of our young OL and quarterback.

Plenty of depth on the ends, imo

Long time reader, 1st time poster. I for one think that the kicking game will be improved. It has to be. It costs us a couple of games last year and I think the Palardy kid is going to be the real deal.

DEs....3 quality veterans if they stay healthy. Great young talent behind them.
Wide Receiver... if our QB is competent enough to get them the ball.
Running backs... if the O-line can find a way to make some holes.

I'll go with DL, WR, and RB. Watched Rajion Neal's youtube video and I'm excited about him. I think Oku will make a great scat back and Poole will be solid. If Bryce comes back that group will get stronger. Moore is a solid down field threat and Jones is when he brings his A game.

1. DL: If Brown makes it in, and on 3rd owns we move Bohanan inside, I like the potential here.

2. ST: Palardy and Janzen returning kicks if dynamite IMO. Punt Return is a question I'd like to see Janzen do that as well, but hes our best player on defense, I dont want to see Prentiss Wagner stepping in for him at safety... We saw how he did chasing down McCluster last year

3. WR: GJ, DM, DR, and Luke Stocker should tear it up. I like Gerald in the slot. I truly believe Rogers will become a superstar. I am not a Teague fan and hope he gets moved to CB because he'd step in and probably be our #3 right away behind Evans and Gordon

Let's hope its perserverance and toughness. I'm afraid they may have to circle the wagons a few times early.

Agreed. I always want to win but as long as the guys give their all and play until the end that's all I can ask of my Vols
