I'm sorry mods if you think this could get ugly, but I just want to see what everyone expects.

9-3 vs 5-7. Which means I now think we will lose one to UK, Vandy, or Miss. St. Croom may play the role of coach killer again.

N.Illinois (TN wins,but who cares)

Georgia(GA on their worst day can beat the Vols on their best day,Bulldogs win))

Miss ST(ST wins in a close game;these guys played LSU tough)

Alabama(Tide rolls over Vols;this will not be pretty)

South Carolina(teams are evenly matched, but Vols win)

Wyoming(Cowboys just can't compete in SEC,Vols win;but again,who cares)

Vanderbilt(Vandy wins this one,'cause by this time in the season, they'll want it more)

Kentucky(Vols end their season with a win,so the Fulmerites will be ecstatic)

5-7

IMHO Wyoming is the only sure win on our schedule at this time... I think it is time to play anyone who might give us any kind of spark... that and to start building for next season... looks like 4-8 with two wins out of pure luck

3-9 with losses to UGA, Miss St, Bama, SCe, Vandy, and UK. That's right we will not win an SEC game this year.

IF JC stays at QB, I'd say this is a best case scenario and almost exactly what I have except I think we stand a good chance of losing at Columbia and Visor Boy (again).

5 - 7. I originally said I thought we would go 6 - 7 if we lost to UCLA (which we ended up doing). This would have included the bowl game loss to a mid-level ACC opponent in another meaningless bowl match-up. Since I no longer think we will be bowl eligible, I now say the final record will be 5-7. If the wheels completely fall off (which is a real possibility), the record could be even worse.

I'll man up.

Preseason, I was saying 9-3, maybe 10-2.

Now, it's 6-6, maybe 5-7.

Not the first time I was wrong about a Fulmer-coached UT team.

But it will be the last.

go vls.

I'll add that this offense is averaging, what...19 points per game, including games against two of the worst teams in the NCAA (UCLA and UAB).

If Crompton stays as the starter, 5 wins will be an accomplishment.

go vls.
