Tennessee is a ways off: This was supposed to be the much needed breather before returning to its gauntlet of a schedule. The Vols, fresh off beatings at the hands of Oregon and Florida in consecutive weeks, couldn't get out of their own way against lowly South Alabama at home on Saturday, winning by the skin of their teeth, 31-24. Maybe they were looking ahead to Georgia and South Carolina, which come to town the following two weeks. Whatever the reason, Butch Jones shouldn't be happy. Tennessee wasted a 24-point lead before holding on with a late interception on fourth-and-goal. Justin Worley and the Vols offense turned the ball over three times and were just 4 of 11 on third downs.

It's the truth whether we like it or not.

75% of this team's problems are directly due to Worley's lack of ability at QB. He's the only reason this game was even close.

If you think QB is the only(or most of the) problem you're delusional beyond help

In this article ESPN took a shot at unranked Tennessee winning a close game, but had nothing to say about #12 South Carolina almost giving away a game to something called a UCF...... seems legit...

Actually, he's pulling punches. I doubt the team was looking ahead; our execution is just unfathomably bad.

The second half turnovers changed the game. The fake field goal was a great call , the kick afterwards wasn't, just like a turnover. The two interceptions in the end zone were killers. It just fell apart in that second half. Looked like a Dooley second half.

UCF isn't a bad team. They allowed a combined one td in their first two games combined against teams that are less of a cup cake than we started against. They then beat penn state and almost beat SC. Id say they are pretty legit at this point.

UCF >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> South Alabama

That loss would look NOWHERE near as bad as a loss to S. Bama

No kidding and they ragged the UT-FL game all week as being boring and taking SEC offense back to the dark ages but said nothing but compliments on the Alabama-Ol Miss game which was just as much of an offensive sleeper if not more. They suck

Well, you can't blame Mike B. and CBJ for play calling when WRs are wide open and Worley can't get them the ball. Mike B. and CBJ like to run a TE slot spread and we don't have a TE who can run in the slot. They dumb down the offense because the players, mostly a QB, aren't there to make the plays, and if you can't see that your delusional beyond help.

Look like a Dooley complete game

Vandy barely beat UMass last week as did Arkansas over a no name team earlier this year.

You heard nothing about them, squeaking by.

This was nothing more than the team doing exactly what the fans did, check out mentally of the game in the third qtr. The stadium was more than half empty, the fans sent the message that the game was over, and the players responded.

Offense isn't the only problem. Or have you forgotten the Oregon game?

UCF was 10-4 last year including being competitive against ohio state and almost beating the same Missouri team that we were involved with the embarrassment against. They started this year hot with blowout wins and a nice win over penn state. It not an almost upset if you ask me. Not comparable to USA.

People were wetting the bed because they thought WKU was going to roflstomp UT also (ermehgerd, pertineh is ser gerd, wur in terble)...

That didn't turn out so well for the negavols... Calm down with the "Team A almost beat Team B, and we would definitely lose to Team B, so.... OH MY GOD WE WOULD LOSE TO TEAM A!!!!!!1" Just stop...

Yea, I watched a defense get put on the field over and over due to a QB who couldnt complete a pass. Saw the same thing yesterday. Our offense kills our defense. Our defense did its job after the first drive yesterday, but you cant go 3 and out 5 and 6 times in a row and expect teams not to take advantage.

They are better than Tennessee. What's so hard to comprehend there?

Does anyone pay attention to other teams besides the sec at all? UCF isn't t even comparable to WKU or south Alabama. They have slid under the radar and have a very solid team. They've almost beat whatever sec opponent they've played the last few years and mopped the floor with the conference they're in. They have some impressive non conference wins as well and their ohio state game last year they played legit against a team that without penalties from the NCAA would've been in a big time BCS bowl.

You better quit using common sense, it is not allowed after the win Saturday! You must not have received the memo, it is all doom and gloom around here! CBJ can't coach, our whole team (coaches and players) are totally inept, and we may not even win another game this year.
