What we can take from the AU/UF game...

Actually, whatever can be learned from this game probably could have been learned in week 4 when they played Ole Miss. Ole Miss gave them all they could handle and only ended up losing by 6pts.

UF is way overrated, not even a top 10 team. I still can't figure out how UT didn't light up their terrible secondary. If they played now, UT would win easy.
brother what are you smoking...we still have the same player development, same coaches, same play calling...i'm not sure that we wouldn't get beat the same way

Auburn has a lot more heart in them. they never got shook or quit. Gotta give props to Cox, he managed the offense well.:clapping:

I know. Lawgator makes it seem like it is impossible though

Laws been drinking the gatoraid:)

Auburn played aggressive defense, which is what Ole Miss did the prior week and Tuberville, et.al., learned something.

It didn't help that our WRs couldn't figure out between them what the play calls meant and we had to burn timeouts, commit various idiotic penalties, etc.

or that Tebow off tackle all night moderately effective at best.....or that Auburn's running game was the stronger of the two on display.....or that UF's D is not dominant.....or that Saint Urban's O isn't the creative wunderkind you've painted it to be.....etc

Florida is just as good today as they were 3 weeks ago...very good.

They still have great players and coaches. The problem is that everyone was ready to annoint them after they trounced TN; and many began speaking as if FL had some kind of dynastic talent advantage over everyone which simply wasn't and isn't the case.

It also speaks to how bad TN is/played.

So what happened to the "you're F'ed" offense?

You obviously didn't watch them play Miss. St. or USF. Way to base you're opinion on one game. This just shows how great college football is because anything can happen, and how fickle and herding fans can be.
that just shows Miss.st. and USF. have a better coaching staff than ours :clapping:

You're dumber than a box of hammers if you think Croom is anywhere near the coach Fulmer is.

And I don't like Fulmer
Fulmer in his time was the better coach but I don't know about that at this time. So maybe your the dumb one.

Its not a slur on Florida to say they are not that good, they are loaded with freshmen and sophomores. They will be even harder to beat the next 2 seasons then this year, if thats possible. Fulmer blew it.

Yep he did. The players quit too(defense). We should have had a better showing than what we did. Florida's isn't 39 points better than us. I also don't believe their talent is that much better either. Its coaching plain and simple.

What can we take from the AU/UF game?

Well our team speed is nowhere near close to making a dominate team in the SEC. Our offensive line is not SEC caliber. UT could easily considered to be the 9th best team in the SEC right now. Auburn is starting to show some improvement.

Yeah, most SEC stats put us about 10th.
