What was your favorite UT-Auburn game of all time?

1985 was good, but my favorite is still 1973 in the rain. Nothing like punting on first down so the other team will make the mistakes.

I was in Auburn for the 98 game and remember several highlights of that one, the Ellis rumble to the end zone, Jamal's opening gallop. The goal line stand ( right in front me ) . It was my daughters first UT game and it was awesome.

I also got to knoxville for the 99 game and it was rocking, especially after the interception on the first pass.

GO VOLS how about we make tommorrow the best of all time. Tame them Tigers, vols

And the Auburn punter (from Chattanooga) got kicked out of the game, did he not?

'91. Me and a buddy got to the bar late and there was nowhere to sit. Some 'Barn fans that had a table (including a couple hotties) said we could sit with them. We had a blast, Kelly and Pickens went nuts and I even got cozy with one of the hotties. Even in defeat they were all just a nice group to have watched the game with. Good memory.

That was the first game I ever went to. Had a blast and Pickens was unstoppable. Dale Carter had a great game too.

Gotta love '98 and '85 but also '89 when Reggie Cobb totally dominated. I saw all those in person. But my personal favorite has to be the first one I ever attended. Legion Field in '67 when the Swamp Rat led us to a 28-0 dominating victory. I was 17, made the road trip from Knoxville with my Dad down and back all in the same day.

The year Bo and company came Knoxville, Dale Jones lived inside Bo's helmet all day! I'm not sure if Aubarn was undefeated when they got there.

1980. Always good to watch the Vols dominate, especially on the road in the SEC.

Deon Grants pick 6 in the 99 game at home. Crowd was on fire that night, good times.

The only Auburn Tennessee game I have been too, it was a night game on ESPN, back when they only had like 2 other night games. That pick 6 on the 2nd play of the game. The offense did not do much that night but GREAT game!!

"87 baby! and I still have a piece of the goal post as proof that it was sweet! We tore it down, paraded down the ave and got the local firehouse to actually help us chop it up. Used the "jaws of life" on all but the two pieces I cut off with a hacksaw. And one was the end piece with the swivel cap! - turned it into a beer mug - ahhh good times! :)

Cannot remember the exact year,Au and UT had very good teams. It was close into the fourth quarter, with about 7 minutes left the score was 24-19 UT.In the next few minutes UT intercepted at least one pass for six and otherwise put a "thumpin'" on the turkey buzzards.Final score,45-19.An Orange "drunk out"for certain and for sure.:dance2:

I was about to ask which year around 80 or 81 did we beat em soundly. I think they were favored. I was at my company picnic playing touch football and every time we took a break and checked the score, we couldn't believe how we had scored yet again and were just pullin away from them. Not saying this tops 85, but this was a good year also. :good!: :hi:

85 for sure, but I was at the 89 and 97 games which were awesome. At the 90 game too, the awesomeness not so much. Ended in a tie after blowing a 17 point 4th qu. lead, and missed a FG at the end. I think it was about 38yds.
