Watching the NC game holding my 7 month old girl and not getting up the entire game. And after winning going outside to scream only to find it had been snowing the whole game so bad that it closed the city for 2 days.

First game my dad took me to was Alabama '85 at Legion Field. A buddy of his who was a 'Bama season ticket holder gave him the tix, so we sat right in the middle of the enemy. That was the first time I heard the F word; the first time a guy called my mom a **ore; the first time I saw my dad chase a guy down the street for said comment; the first time I sang Rocky Top non-stop all the way to the car. It was one of the best memories I have with my dad. I have never been the same since.

I know we won but he said we won the NC! which we didnt!

Thats not what he said....He said after beating Florida in "01", he thought we would get to go to the National Champioship game. He never said we went and we won it. And my 2 memories was the 1986 Sugar Bowl and the 1998 NC!!!

watching us beat Florida in 98 on tv; being in the stands for the Wilhoit redemption field goal in 04 ... and the riot outside of Neyland after the LSU comeback game in '06 (i think) - the fire trucks rolled by, spraying everybody and honking their horns in celebration, it was great

Being in Tempe, Arizona on January 4th, 1999 to watch us kick Florida State's a$$ in the National Championship game! We then rented a limo and partied like rock stars with freshman cornerback Teddy Gaines and some other freshman I don't recall....I was a little hammered

Wilhoit's 51 yarder to beat FL in 04, after missing an extra point. 109,000, maybe the biggest crowd Neyland will ever see

That was an amazing experience. No one wanted to leave the stadium and when we did leave - everyone was singing rocky top and screaming it's great to be a TN vol!!!

Mose Phillips running down the sideline of Florida game when it was raining cats and dogs! I believe when he scored, he looked at his watch and said it was about time iirc. For those who do not remember, Mose Phillips was 3rd string rb behind Garner and Stewart iirc and he took a screen pass on the right side of the field to the house. We still had the astro turf and the he was running through about 6 inches of standing water.

Also the Arkansas game in 98'. I remember saying if we do not force a fumble on this play, they will just kneel down the rest of the way. I went crazy when Clint Stoerner fumbled!

Watching Gators field goal attempt sail wide left in OT from student section, 1998. Rushing the field and celebrating down there for 30 minutes after the game.

That was my best UT football moment ever. Going to NC game that year was a close second, but something about getting to rush the field after a huge SEC win is my greatest memory...so far.

GBO!!! :loco: :loco: :loco:

I watched mine from the student section when I was in school there. Rushing the field after the '98 Florida game. I took some orange and white grass from the end zone. Also helped carry the goal post for about 20 feet, until I was almost trampled. Absolutely my best single sports moment.

Actually being in Legion Field in 1995 when we treated Alabama like John Holmes treated porn star whores!

My friends and I had been waiting for that for a long long time. We were in Neyland stadium for the losses to Bama in 90, 92, and 94 and had to listen to those pricks sing Rammer Jammer and taunt UT fans like crazy and then even going to the strip afterwards and hearing them yell "Roll Tahd!" everywhere. We were in the endzone right between the goal posts welcoming Joey Kent into our outstretched arms on that first play. Bama fan and his wife sat down in front of us and he turned and said "I hope ya'll don't get to mad when we start beating that arse." At least his wife was kind to us when they left at the start of the 4th quarter and told us congrats. I don't remember him saying anything:)

I remember the sweetness of staying there and celebrating after the game in the stands. And then one other memory. We stopped to eat at an O'Charley's and as we were walking through the parking lot a Bama fan was walking by and he made some smart arse comment to us and we thought this might be rough going in there to eat but we were tired and had been up since 7 that morning. Anyway, we walk in expecting Bama fans everywhere and it was ALL UT fans and when we came in the whole dining room cheered. Then everytime UT fans would walk in we would all cheer. I can see why the Bama fan was pissed walking out of there.

I LOVED IT!!!!

#1 FB: When Peerless Price took the AU kickoff to the house in 98'. But a flag on the play so my Tide freind at the game with me started laughing at me until, the ref said it was on the kicking team. Shaun Alexander had just scored on a 40ish yard TD to give them the mo. The place went from sickened to an explosion. My friend just buried his head in his hands.

#2 BB. UT overcomes a 15pt 1/2 time deficit to UTjr to win it in OT. Kevin Durant FR was a beast, but Chris Loften was even beastier. When Loften stroked that 30 footer over KD in OT, that place went berzerk!
Hearing later about Duke Crews telling Durant it was coming made it even better. I saw Crews talking to him while setting the screen, and could not believe that rainbow bomb!

Kickin' Miami's ass in the Sugar Bowl after three days of listining to them all over New Orleans sayin' "I don't know why we couldn't have played a better team".

They were all real quiet on Sunday morning as they tucked their tails and headed back to south Fla.

This!!
