What was with the 5yd out to Wolf on the next to the last play?

Four yards would have gotten Medley's kick through the uprights.

No it didn't. Dobbs got those four yards on the NEXT play and still didn't matter. Why go for four when you really need 18 more to give Medley a better shot? He hasnt made a 40 yarder this year, so 4 yards still doesn't make sense.

Normally his conservative coaching style would take the points. I was shocked he went for it. Those who are always complaining that he should go for it on 4th and short need to remember this play. It cost us the game. The fan in me wanted to go for it. I was dead wrong...

Still the rest of the game was really not well played by anyone. And I'm having a hard time giving Butch the benefit of the doubt after not having his team ready after a bye.

Hard to argue this.... as much as he's played he does make some incredibly head scratching decisions.

Probably not. It waould have been a 48 yard FG and I put a $100 on it that Medley would have missed. He is a horrible kicker outside of 40 yards, that's all there is to it.

I was actually glad he didn't catch it because I don't think they would have marked him out of bounds.
