Why didnt the clock stop those couple of times that we ran the ball out of bounds? Not that we would have won, but we lost about 2 minutes from it running. Is there a rule I over looked?

New clock management rules, if you played NCaa10' you would have been complaining about the rule yourself a long time ago...

Clock restarts after an out of bounds play. I think the rule goes off during the last two minutes or so, but don't hold me to that.

I could be wrong but I am sure they stopped it during the MSU vs Notre Dame game. My vision isnt the best though.

Ball Out Of Bounds (Rule 3-2-5-a-12). When a ball is carried or fumbled out of bounds, the game clock will stop, as always. Beginning in 2008 the game clock will start on the referee’s signal when the ball is ready for play, not on the snap. In the last two minutes of the half, however, the clock will start on the snap as before, preserving the ability of the offensive team to maximize strategic use of the clock.

I promise you the clock did not stop a couple times... there's no way that the ref was able to set the ball that quickly.

There was also one I notice that forward progress was stopped at the side line, then the player was pushed out of bounds. The clock does not stop at all like that.

Those times the clock was running was due to the fact they called our forward progress stopped inbounds and then we were pushed out of bounds.(it was really close) In the new rule the clock stops when someone goes out of bounds and then is restarted when the ball is marked ready for play. Inside of 2 minutes the clock does not restart.

It seemed as if the linesmen kept winding the clock instead of signaling the clock to stop as if the player had been run out of bounds. i noticed it too and did not agree with the rulings on the field.
