What was the announcement?

And he kinda gave a shout out to Tee,Jacoby,Ty,Maleik, etc that kids from TN
Stay to play for UT... Don't underestimate that subtle message later on

Might just be me, but I wouldn't mind seeing them with captains patches on their jerseys. Something as simple as this would be a nice touch, IMO.

What a great read. I was disappointed in "announcement", but after reading that article, I take back my disappointment completely. The article is correct. Leadership is what takes a team to that next level. The expectations that CBJ has put on these young men has put our Vols team in a place to have some awesome VFL's to talk about for years to come after they leave the university.

WTF did people think was going to be announced? No coaches had been fired so none were going to be replaced. What else were you people expecting? Free tickets? Beer at Neyland? The people complaining were obviously expecting some miraculous announcement and didn't get it. You set yourself up for disappointment, stop taking it out on the team and coaches.

Well, I personally hoped Butch to announce Kiffin and Dooley scheduled for an epic "Battle at Bucksnort" full-contact WWE match at that BP gas station right beside the exit off I-40 in Bucksnort. Fund raiser for a charity kind of thing. First one of those two ex-coaches to kill the other one gets a dollah. No one gets out of the cage until someone is dead.

But I understood going in that wasn't likely. Still, a man can dream.

At least you are honest with your expectations, the one's *****ing the most won't state what their expectations were. They just want to *****.
