What was the announcement?

Joshua Dobbs, Cam Sutton, Alvin Kamara, and Jalen Reeves-Maybin.

Each then gave a speech about what all they were going to give as team captains and what being on this year's team meant to them (usually ending with like thanking the fans and such).

Also, classy gesture by Butch considering those 3 came back to win a championship for UT.

Think of like the lamest thing ever....then think of something lamer than that. And even the lamest thing you're thinking right now, probably still isn't as lame as the announcement. It's so lame, you can't find it on YouTube.

Well that is really nice but I must admit it was a little underwhelming. Truth be told I really don't even know what I was expecting.

On a more positive note announced attendance was 67K.
BTW, congrats to the team captains, elected by their teammates in recognition for their leadership and hard work. Salute to the VN for it's loyal support . :salute:

Well when so many were secretly expecting Peyton to be named QB coach it was bound to be anticlimactic....

Butch is the one that messed this up saying there was going to be a big announcement. It's very important internally but shouldn't be promoted as a big announcement to fans. Very poor PR. They should have just announced it at the game and everyone would be congratulating them instead of this.
