I'm gonna lay off Fade for a bit. That said, he WAS born. Problem is, that's the end of the story. OK. Now I will lay off Fade

Lay off of me? What have you ever done to me? All I see is you embarassing yourself with how clever you and your mom think you are.

1990

They finished the season with a record of nine wins, two losses and two ties (9–2–2 overall, 5–1–1 in the SEC), as SEC Champions and with a victory over Virginia in the Sugar Bowl. The Volunteers offense scored 465 points while the defense allowed 220 points.

Lost to Bama (9-6) and Notre Dame (34-29)

1962

Started 0-4 but ended season with 4 wins and 6 losses.Coached by Bowden Wyatt who was replaced the next year by Jim McDonald who went 5-5 and was then replaced after one year by Dickey.

Alot like the Fulmer-Kiffen-Dooley rotation?

The Volunteers offense scored 179 points while the defense allowed 134 points.

Lost to Bama on CBS TV but beat Vandy at end of year in Nashville (some things never change).

You got me Fade. I concede. Clearly I cannot compete with such imaginative wit such as "embarrassing yourself" and "...how clever you and your Mom think you are." That one was simply brilliant. Where do you come up with this stuff!? I was all like "DAYUM!" when
I read that one! I was all like "OOOOOOOOOH!!!! Take THAT!" Then I realized that it was directed at me and I cried. I was all like "why do I always have to be the butt of the *sniff* most thoughtful and deeply-cutting insults of All Time!?" Then I told my Mom what you said and she told me that I AM clever and that I should just make sure not to start any crap with people on VolNation, especially those like you Fade, who are so obviously superior to me.......
