The problem was when he invoked that, culture, and then cited a relatively recent author who posited that blacks are an inferior race.

Had he left it at we have a nationwide issue with aspiration and a work ethic, he'd have been fine. But invoking all of that he cannot get out of this.

I don't see anything particularly untrue about what he said. Also, I never saw him say 'blacks' in inner cities.

If anything, those who found it offensive put the racist overtone to it by implying that only black people live in inner cities.

It depends on if that was what Charles Murray really said or if that is the left's interpretation of what he said.

It's like when the mods vanquished GS in an epic battle, he was not destroyed, but merely separated into pieces. It took a year or so, but the remains of GSvol have returned to VN. Though together, they are merely a sum of his parts, a dark union is brooding on the horizon...

Good to see you on today Dink. I saw about the guy crashing into the crowd at the festival in Austin and you were the first thing that came to my mind . Glad you are safe.

Gave you a like on that one dink, I would never attempt to try and fill GS Vols shoes. Being on a phone during the day not on my ass behind a keyboard it's more convenient and just as effective of a retort posting pics.

Why we still listen to privileged individuals talk about how to fix poverty always amuses me. I need a plumber, ill just go ask an accountant how to keep a toilet from leaking.

He is right though, a lot of inner city people could do better. Just like the powerful people in this country could do better by not selling their souls for money and power. It's okay to steal from people through various channels but it's not okay to be an underachiever in the urban cities IF your black.

That was on my one night off. Apparently I was too busy wandering into restaraunts after they were closed and convincing the staff to make me fish tacos and pour me retto sours.

Privileged? I believe Ryan was raised in a single family home with a mother who worked. Lower middle class upbringing.
