My wife and I will be at death valley. Always wanted to see a game there and now we will. Hope we beat the brakes off PITT but I wouldn't be super excited about going to a game there. At least not as excited as an SEC atmosphere

Going up to Sewickley, PA for this one. Great little town. Farmers market, good restaurants, quaint and quiet and I love Pittsburgh. Used to live in NOLA and I just simply don't care to spend a road trip there. But, if you've never been to SoLA you should go atleast once. Having spent a good amount of time there I am more inclined for the beauty of Pittsburgh. Try to get a Steelers game in as well...

Anyone know anything about that casino in PItt? Ive heard good things but I dont like going somewhere that only has one casino. Thinking about playing golf in Biloxi and hanging out Friday and then getting a hotel in NOLA or Metairie late Friday night.

What about a 3rd choice, both? My son-in-law pitched for the Pirates for 3 years. Wife and I have stayed a week in Pittsburgh on a couple different occasions. Really, really enjoyed it; we want to go back. Oldest daughter (UT grad) lived in Baton Rouge for five years and earned her Master's from LSU. We've spent a ton of time down there, a great college town. I'm hoping we can make both.

LSU @ night is a crazy environment. When everything is being hyped, like UT v Ole Miss this year, it's one of the best in the sport.

I live an hour north of Pittsburgh. Definitely will be at that one. The game day experience leaves a lot to be desired though.

I've walked around in it and dropped a bit at the blackjack tables. Not a big gambler but it seemed nicer than Cherokee.

While that's the only casino in the city, there are other gambling options in SW Pennsylvania. Nemacolin is a golf resort with casino about an hour and half south. There's also a horse track, The Meadows, with a casino also south of Pittsburgh.
